Time Lapse
The everyday choice of a certain route through a given space - a shortcut between two points in time - is questioned in Time Lapse, representing the infinitesimal answers to the "what-if" (in this case: what if you had chosen to take the long walk around the block) The LED clock at the bottom of Advocate`s Close would show you the accurate time.
The shortcut through the close has saved 7min45sec of your lifetime, the lapse displayed on the lower clock.
The piece refers to Heideggers concept of time as a continuity intrinsicly connected to the human soul, thus remaining unmeasurable.
